Travelling By Car
From the south leave the M6 motorway at Junction 41 follow the A6 towards Carlisle After approximately 7 miles take the right turn signposted for Armathwaite. When you arrive at a T junction after 1 ½ miles turn right towards Armathwaite village. In the centre of the village keep straight on towards Wetheral and after 2 miles passing over low house level crossing our site is a further mile beyond on the right
From the north Leave M6/A6 at junction 42 onto the B6263 (signposted Wetheral). In 1.75 miles (about 0.25 mile after crossing the railway bridge in Cumwhinton) turn right (signposted Wetheral Shield, Armathwaite, Animal Refuge). The site is on the left in about 3.5 miles.
